Ένα από τα καλύτερα και πιο δυσεύρετα d.i.y. 7" από τις αρχές της δεκαετίας των 80's. Οι Cinematics ήταν οι Gregory Webster και Tim Vass οι οποίοι αργότερα μετονομάστηκαν σε Razorcuts όπου βγάλανε δύο εξαιρετικά LP's και κάμποσα singles. Η παραγωγή του "Farewell to the playground" μπορεί να μην είναι η καλύτερη, άλλα αυτό ήταν και η γοητεία της συγκεκριμένης μουσικής σκηνής.
